Just bought this Barbisio Titan from fellow Lounger Pboggia. He posted it in the Classifieds.
I had a Titan on my eBay list for months.

Hahahaha!!! @Just Daniel already met me in person, Brent. He's my witness. [emoji2]

And it was just a used Porsche Cayenne I bought. I have never bought a new car. Well, once only, after my second divorce, to get back on the market. [emoji2]

Let someone else pay through the nose to drive it out of the dealership!
Just buy a great used car in like-new condition. [emoji2]

Love the car Max. I drove one for a few years and really enjoyed it. Enjoy the adventure.

Look at that beauty!

The hat isn't bad, either. The mannequin wasn't for sale, darn it.

Resistol. Alan says it's 1940-50.
I just love the crown height (5.5 inches) and the brim width (2.75).
It has a couple of stains I am pretty confident Ignacio can remove, even if he has to do it with scissors. [emoji2]

I think I estimated post-war to 1950s, but I definitely said "nice hat." And it is!

I bought this one yesterday. Seller says it is a snug 7 1/8, but I think my band blocks can handle it.
I really like the green color, and I have been looking for a Portis with that liner.

Good get, Max. I love that liner too. A tissue weight Portis...looking forward to hearing your impressions.

That is a nice color green. I believe i’ve seen that color on another Portis around here but in a Western. Great color, great hat.

Looks like another previous owner who didn't know what he had... The crown blocking on the "Slants" were distinctly tipped (slanted) down lower on the left. Somebody didn't know it was a "thing," and straightened it out. Too bad, as the ads said, "The nonchallance is blocked in."

Ah! Thank you! I didn't know that. Excellent. Another thing you taught me. I think I will ask Ignacio to block it that way for me. Will post pics when it's done.
