This is my first post, wish me luck. What do folks think of this? I have never seen anything like it and don't see much in the archives for Essman. I'm assuming that the hat is assembled in the US from a body weaved elsewhere. What do you think the origin and age of the hat is? Thanks!
Yes they do. They were slightly too snug but they stretched out large enough to fit me. The 50s and 40s 6 3/4s fit me but, the 60s 6 3/4s do not. My great grandfather gave me a 60s Dobbs and it's too small, way too small. So I think the older ones run larger than the newer ones. The derby however is a 6 7/8. that fits me very well. I take slightly a stretched 6 3/4 from the 40s to 50s era hats and 6 7/8. I think the two fedoras are stretched to 6 7/8 if you think about it. From my head hehe.
