A Dobbs Very Very Light OR clone! But that’s where the good news ends, it’s only a size 7 3/8 and there is more than a little moth damage. I bought it just to experience the felt.

Sure don’t get to see these VV often!
This one appears in VV nice condition from what can be seen.
And yes, they are true to their name VVL.
I VV much look forward to seeing more of this Brent.

There’s some significant moth damage not shown. It might be worth the repair effort, but then it’s only a 7 3/8. You can’t give hats away in that size so I’ll probably end up burning it.

It was a deal, but then it fell apart. The seller never recontacted me or told me the reason, but they cancelled the sale and refunded my money. I paid their asking price one minute after they offered it so I don’t know what went wrong in that minute. This is happening to me more and more lately. I like to believe the best of people, but these circumstances make me wonder if they figure it sold awfully quick so maybe it’s worth more? I don’t know.

I immediately thought you would go for this hat when I saw it posted!!! I wanted to go for it myself in the worst way, as it is actually my size and I would love an Optimo, but this covid thing has hurt my business quite significantly so...no hats for a while.....(but really I do have enough if I am honest).
But that hat body sure was nice!!!! It should make a good "shrink" conversion and perhaps you can get a little more brim in the possess. Anyway, nice get.
