About once a year we all the get the urge to really clean the house. We used to call this spring cleaning, but it can be done anytime. There are some heavy duty cleaning jobs that take more muscle and time. This list has a few of those chores listed for those Saturdays when you just feel like cleaning.
I FEEL LIKE CLEANING--CHORES TO BE DONE
Cupboard and Drawers Outdoors
Wash or replace shelf paper
Clean downspouts
Organize drawers (one a week is good)
Clean roof gutters
Straighten cupboards
Replace faulty roof parts
Clean out medicine cabinets
Paint exterior
Clean driveway and garage floor concrete
Plumbing Remove junk / garden clippings
Flush drains
Replace / fix broken play equipment
Clean faucet heads and handles
Clean or repaint mailbox
Drain hot water heater / Clean
Move outdoor furniture from storage / Paint
Clean septic tank / add activator
Store outdoor furniture for winter
Change water purification filters
Clean barbecue grill
Setup sprinkler system for season (or drain)
Straighten garage
Clean trash out of window wells
Heating Do insect / pest check
Dust or vacuum radiator
Clean patio
Bleed radiator
Rinse outside walls / siding
Vacuum and wash heat registers
Repair nails in siding
Have heating system cleaned
Repair caulk on siding
Change furnace (blower) filter
Wash windows and screens
Change air conditioner filter
Service furnace / lubricate

Clean fireplace bricks and glass
Service vacuum (bag, roller, belts)
