OT:Complaints?

Found this site. Seems I am not the only one not happy with BEST BUY. Even more complaints than ebay which is saying something.

Only once was I actually satisfactorily assisted in a Best Buy. The kid was probably a videophile and actually knew something. rest of the time its vague gestures to where something might be, ignoring by talking to co-workers. never one when something was out did anyone bother to see if anothe store had it or when their stock would come in. Worthless outfit.

I do believe Best Buy is the only place where the "salesman" (and, believe me, I use the term loosely) tried to talk me out of buying merchandise. Apparently, if I don't have digital cable or a home theater system I may as well not even bother with a television at all--condesending little....

Ahem!

It doesn't surprise me at all that they have such a lousy record.

It is funny about life. Some will go to a restaurant and hate it and others will love it.
I didn't put this link here to necessarily bash Best Buy but to maybe use as a tool for the future.
Almost 10,000 people though is a bit much.
I am not happy with their online payment rules for the record. With Christmas I forgot to pay my bill though it is a small amount. It was due today but these are the options.
Pay 2 days before it is due which I didn't.
or
Pay a $15.00 extra fee online to pay today.
Pay a $15.00 fee to pay over phone today.
or pay a $29.00 late fee.
I was stunned to say the least as one cannot pay in the store.
So I cancelled my card and said see ya!

BEST BUYS

My #1 suggestion @ BB is NO house brands & pray the name brand works
their warranties are a certified trip to nightmare city!!!!

Foofoo- I've seen the online feedback from other customers before, after I've done a search for "store closest to me." It was relatively the same as I collectively found, some stores sounded worse than others.

I can't say whether Circuit City is far better or not. The last time I was in one of those was about 2 years ago and the woman where I was browsing the PC dept was very knowledgable and helpful.[huh]

Best Buys???

All I can say is.......
When they first started out it was a cool place to get CDs as they had all kinds of obscure music, but as time passed, they did not re-order anything except the popular crap one can hear on the radio any day.
Their prices sky-rocketed too!
Also causes massive sensory overload whenever I step foot in the place,...35 stereos and big screen TVs all blaring something different at the same time drives me right out the door in about one minute flat.​
