I have been undertaking some research on A2 jackets in thePoughkeespie Journal and decided to have a look for the Poughkeepsie Leather Coat Co and found among other things these interesting adverts from the Spring of 1944.

Anyone fancy giving Mr Lewis a call? :lol:

Both my maternal grandmother and her mother (my great-grandmother) answered one of those ads during the war and were hired. Probably by Mr. Lewis.
