G'day guys,
I'm chasing someone to hand paint a patch for me. I've seen a couple of guys here advertising their wares, I just cannot seem to find the thread. Can someone please point me in the right direction?
Cheers.

If you would like to step up a grade, contact Sean Collins. He does layered leather patches, not painted. They have a 3-D effect and are really nice. A bit more expensive, but worth the extra cost! He has done work for me and pics have been posted on this forum. a2jacketpatches@gmail.com

For painting, you might contact Daniel McQuality...he does real nice work and is very reasonable. danielmcquality@gmail.com

+1

I have many of his layered leather patches (even some custom made one-of-a-kind pieces). His work is impeccable.

Depending on what sort of patch, you could look at Roberto Bandecca at http://www.italianpatchmaker.it
He did the patches for my ANJ-3 and he's a pleasure to work with and reasonably priced - he'll do whatever you like and work with you to get the details right and just as you like them - he also has an "aging" process which is excellent.
Like all artists and commissions, you have to like his personal style - so look at his website (or whoever you're interested in) and ask to see other works … Good luck!

ANJ-3 #1.JPG

This is a photo of my Aero ANJ-3 with the patches I mentioned. Roberto also made me an unoffcial nametag to go with the unofficial shoulder patches, which I really like.
I would say though, that if you're rather looking for a bomb squadron or group patch, I would expect to see more artistic style within that work, so as I said, I'd just make sure you like whoever's style it is you opt for.
