Maybe it's just that the pics are so large, but it doesn't look too different. It does look like the correct fit, but maybe the pics are too large. I can't tell very well.

That jacket went from meh to yeah! A great example of how sizing correctly can transform a garment. A bold colour choice beyond me, but it suits you. Jacket sleeves have been worn that way for many decades; it's interesting how we tend to prefer longer ones as the house style here. I'm in the longer camp generally but those are within reasonable lengths.

As much as I like this jacket. Less than a week later it's been superseded by the Tenjin JS02 that I just received. I think I'm going to need to stopping looking at this forum if I'm to not buy anymore :/

Truer words were never spoken. Now sell the Orgueil... :)

I should wait for the honeymoon phase to wear off before I make any selling decisions I'll regret later.

I'm so thankful to everyone here, the forum has allowed me to discover some really amazing jackets from makers I would have never found on my own.

The size 40 replacement arrived. Sleeves to short as I suspected, I decided to live with it. The fit is definitely slim.

Nice jacket may I ask what your height and weight is? It’s always hard to gauge the sizing of these jackets online and helpful when a real persons wearing it and you have their measurements.

I google up the tenjin, it is totally different style, its normal to like the newest thing more than your older thing, you will obviously regret selling the other jacket unless you choose to be a strict "One jacket person" type, after a month or two you will love both.

That's what I used to do in Shanghai- wear leather jackets and have a crafty smoke (and occasionally work). It's slowly getting toward the time of year when you'll be able to wear a leather jacket for ages- and, depending on your apartment's insulation- possibly sleep in it, as well. Out here in Taipei, it's just about possible to put one on for the heavy rain and the cooler evenings.

That pretty much sums up my life here in Shanghai haha

Whether you stop looking or not, you will always find some more interesting brands, it is pretty much endless :)

Just a day or so ago, I ended up ordering 2 jackets from Japanese makers unknown here, there are so many makers out there. In other words, you're doomed, just accept it and enjoy :D

I have to revive that thread as it was the only one I could find on that specific jacket.
Can anyone comment on the durability of the OR-4002B jacket? How does the incredibly soft hide actually perform over time? Is it very delicate or does it take some beating?
Also, what hide is it really? Steerhide or calf? The info on that is unclear.

I have the option to try the jacket on in my home town, so the fitting is not an issue, but I have reservations concerning how resistant the leather would be for example compared to a horsehide or Thedi´s water buffalo.

Any comments? Thanks in advance.
