just a quick one folks. Have any of you ordered via this site? I'm after a pair of Buzz Rickson A10 gloves and they are way cheaper on this site and that worries me. I know GR is a Japanese Amazon type site but I'm just wary of getting stooged! The fellas selling them are Rodeo Bros is anyone has experience of them?

Regards

I ordered once from rakuten about a year ago, from a shop called Wild Hearts for a leather wallet strap.
I think I went through the whole order process using Google Translate. Everything went fine, and the shipping didn't take too long (way less than when ordering from China).
Only minor issue is that the store people didn't seem too eager to communicate (no reply to emails), but I think that's probably because they didn't speak English.

Bought tons of stuffs on Rakuten. Some sellers may have trouble understanding English but one can get help from Rakuten customer service regarding translation issue. Rakuten however does not handle orders and return etc directly, you still have to deal directly with the individual sellers on orders etc.

I have used GR once and it all went well. I would use it again.
You could also buy it via Buyee, they have horrible online reviews, but i have used them around 10 times and have had nothing but amazing service from them.

I've used Rakuten often, mostly Rodeo Bros, and they've always been faultless. Very quick to respond and ship, well packaged, no complaints at all. Typically the Japanese denim brands I buy through Rakuten are about half the price of buying through the Western retailers.

I'd second that. I've had orders delivered quicker from Rodeo Bros than companies I've bought from in the same country as me!
