I just noticed how close the button spacing is on the waistcoat too... almost looks like it could be seven buttons, like this:

I believe the BB is a 6 button all functional.

Lapeled vests have never been my cup of tea though they have their place.

I love it, but then my last MTM suit was done with a lapelled vest. For $480 it's hard to go too wrong.

Point taken, though they are rather close together, which means the waistcoat is probably nice and short. I wonder how high the trousers sit.

I just went to my local Brooks Brothers

and all the 1818 line of suits are on sale, most, including the one pictured, for $588. Not quite half price, but not bad. If you open a BB charge and use that, you save an additional 10%. Pickings were somewhat slim, though.

Well I called my local BB this morning and was told that the entire company is sold out of this suit so.......it's a no go regardless. I guess that's what I get for shopping a cold weather suit when retailers are changing over to spring attire.

Later in the year perhaps.....

Lou Miri is a very helpful salesman there. He's checking the other stores for a 42 regular for me. If you call him, I'm sure he'll have the 46 shipped to your store. Tell him it's the same suit Mr. Osborn was looking for, different size. The # is (410) 625-0971.
