Opinions on Current Production Ducati Corse C5 Jacket by Dainese? What’s not to like?

Hello, I hope everyone is doing well and is enjoying the early fall weather! All is well here!
I would love to hear what people think of these jackets. I have no personal experience with Dainese jackets, all of my motorcycle jackets being a vintage Cal Leather, a Vanson Sportrider, and a cheap Cortech. However, I stumbled across this jacket in a size 54 and it fits me great. From only trying it on at a shop it seems like it would be a nice summer riding jacket as it has some perforations in the front and is armored.
I know that Dainese has been around for awhile, and a lot of riders seem to like them. I have no clue as to the quality of what they are making now. This particular jacket is tagged “Made in Ukraine”, and I don’t know if that’s considered a good thing or not.
The other question that I have is a personal one of my comfort level with the design and styling of the jacket, and I know that’s up to me to sort out. Ducati claims that the jacket is designed by Aldo Drudi, whom I believe has designed helmets for the likes of Valentino Rossi. The jacket has lots of Ducati branding, and also sports the number 1 on the back, which of course was the great Carl Fogarty’s number as a factory Ducati rider. So between the connections to Drudi and Fogarty, I guess the jacket has some moto-creds. However, I have never been one to wear braided jackets, the idea of that has never appealed to me. One of my bikes is a Ducati, so if I’m on my Ducati and wearing a jacket with Ducati written all over it, I don’t know I’ll feel cool or if I’ll feel rather silly! Nonetheless, I think the jacket looks great, at least it does on the rack in the motorcycle shop. Anyway, I’m trying to make up my mind whether or not to pull the trigger on this one. It would be great to hear what you all think of this.

Cheers!

Here’s a pic of the jacket:

Not my cup of tea. it would be too colorful for me.
On the motorcycle perhaps still acceptable, provided you belong to the fast curve scratchers, but at the latest in the cafe....?
On the other hand, would this jacket be 50 years old and have clear signs of use, then there would certainly be fans here ;)
But of course that's just my personal taste and about which one can argue.

I think once the white part yellowing with wear it might look the part. probably you got to wear black jeans with it, can't imagine wearing blue jeans will look good with it, perhaps other color like grey or olive cargo pants might work too

I think on a Ducati this jacket would look just fine. On any other bike it would look a bit silly. I do think that for a strictly moto jacket, it is a nice looking jacket.

The style is rather too fashion forward for me, personally, but that's subjective. I've not yet heard anyone with a bad word to say about Dainese gear, so I would certainly expect it to be very decent qualitatively.

On a bike - that is a good look. As my Motorcycle safety Foundation Instructor said in class - you actually want a jacket the gets you noticed! "The more obvious the better".

However that can work against you too as (at least in the US) as some very not-trustworthy drivers tend to target and give a hard time to bicyclists wearing all thier gear on the roads. Very not cool!

So, if you like it and it fits, why not buy it and use it?

The red corset idea is weird...
This is the first thing it made me think of:

Not a fan of the huge branding either.

You guys crack me up! That Zoolander pic says it all. Agreed. The branding is over the top. I just bought a Tech Air 5 vest, so I’ve used up my monthly allowance anyway. Should be getting my Guzzi back from my friend’s garage soon and will most likely be back on that bike for commuting, so that would complicate pulling this piece off as well.
Cheers, and happy trails everyone!

I would not wear it on a bike...too many colors I don't like...
I would not wear it to the bar...
I would not wear it in the car...
I would not wear it...near or far...
