It's probably in to get the rust patched.

That Tydol station looks exactly like one that was in my home town when I was very young -- so much so that when I saw it I had a flash back to riding past it in a car when I was about three and being frightened by the "Flying A" logo. I doubt it actually is the same one, but it's so close as to be uncanny.
