'59 Cadillac.... classic.

And it probably wasn't that expensive if priced per pound.

Tank of gas, visit to the rest room, Indian souvenirs, look at the monster. Something for everyone.
I wonder what gas brand they're selling?

[emoji3][emoji3]The next day they got a message from district headquarters that the logo is being changed.
I'd fix that up and live in it.
I was going to make an Eleanor Rigby joke (Rigby, Rigsby) but you've probably heard 'em all.Route 66 in Waynesville, Missouri. Wonder if he (Claude Rigsby) is related to my Mom's family (Rigsby). They were from near there.
I was thinking the same thing about the Gascozark Cafe above.I'd fix that up and live in it.
I'm thinking water...at least, that's where the filler is on my 61 Shasta Compact.^^^^^ White gas? Fuel oil for the heater? Maybe water.

Let me upload a few when I get home tonight. [emoji6]I believe that pics are required if you mention a vintage trailer.
Maybe it has a gas stove.Gassing up the travel trailer?

I know where you're coming from, Tony, and I agree wholeheartedly.I’ve been kinda sorta looking for a vintage trailer myself. It’s about the last thing I need, but it’s near the top of my list of desires. Almost got a good ’un a few weeks back for an even grand (a steal of a price), but another buyer beat me to it by minutes.
I won’t pay anything approaching “retail,” or at least what is widely seen as retail in this age of great nostalgia for mid-century anything. This will pass, the economy will cool if not tank, and unnecessary swag (stuff with little if any intrinsic value) will sell for far lower prices than it has been fetching in recent years. That’s my guess anyway.
What won’t pass is the visual appeal of ’60s and earlier travel trailers, leastwise not to my eye. A young couple up the street keep one in their driveway. I oughta have one too, to balance it all out.
