Hopper is amazing - I am a huge fan. The Whitney in NYC has his permanent collection so I've been fortunate to have seen a lot of his work. It's incredible in books, but ten-times more amazing in person. If you come to NYC or it travels to a museum near you (which it does periodically), I'd encourage you to see it.

I'll keep an eye out for it, if it travels; I've been to NYC several times in the past, and hope to go again in a year or so. If I don't catch it on a circuit, I'll check it out at The Whitney.

Good eye. The second one, "Gas", is indeed Ed Hopper. The first one, "The Old Woodie", was painted by R.D. Burton, who was inspired by Mr. Hopper.
