A car that had the rear...
almost looking like the front!
Not quite a split-window Corvette (somebody was on their game the day they designed that Vette), but a fun looking car nonetheless. Any car-guys (in the non-gender sense) know what it is?

Mr. Fade , I can tell you from experience
that the rear window "sleeping compartment" on the Stude were not as comfortable as my father's Pontiac.
That said, bet you it was a heck of a lot more comfortable than the split-window 'Vette's back shelf as a sleeping perch.

Those postwar Studebakers were a product of the Raymond Loewy design shop, the same industrial-design firm that gave us the 1960s "Controlled Background" Shell logo and the original 1972 Exxon sign.
