Can't say I'm in a hurry to have one of my very own, but I don't object to them. In a large cache of hatter's equipment I purchased a few years back was a collection of puzzle blocks for making felt caps -- not the same style as these (which could be made on "regular" open crown blocks), but of a style that was once not uncommon and which is still seen on rare occasion these days.
