Finally got the Whippet that I was lusting after. LOL Man six days is a long time to wait for something like that. Wondering if someone is going to outbid you and such makes it longer. All in all though it wasn't a bad deal. I could have been forced to paid more.
We will just have to see what I end up getting though. Another waiting period.

Hey, Dr. Disarray made off with my hat! I managed to get a picture of him running away with it. Here it is. If you see this man shoot him and send my hat back. Make sure it is a body shot and not a head shot. I don't want my hat ruined. LOL LOL

WOW, that is indeed a wonderful lid my friend, well worth every penny. I love the Freddy Kruger mask there too, lol people are weird, lol. But cheers on the lid, wear it with pride, enjoy it, you have found a classic.

Yep, I love it already. The block is not my favorite, I prefer a deeper C crown, but it will do for now. The blue feather has to go though. I don't think they were sold that way.
I am a Whippet fanatic. If I find one in my size it is likely I am going to buy it. I have them in gray, dark gray, camel, olive and pearl gray. I have yet to find one in a blue hue. A dark brown would be nice to find as well but we will see. :cool2:

JP, you have won a very nice hat. The final price is really cheep compared to what some people are charging these days for a NOS fedora. Yes, I believe that the feather was added later.

A "C" block would look nice, but I think a nice hand block job would look real sharp as well. You know, just open the crown and then use a little steam and shape it the way you like. Get the real 40's every day look. Just a suggestion my friend
