If current auction blabber was allowed this site would turn into an Ebay annex with fights over who saw what hat or vintage boxers first. It would totally screw up the site.

Everybody here already knows about Ebay. If they are looking for a hat or antique underpants they already know to go there and look. If they miss something that's tough crap. Who would benefit in the long run with "Lavender straw Dobbs at $2!!" "Men's vintage size 36 suit-cheap- ending in 30 minutes!!" Either peruse Ebay or join in conversations here.
