I just picked up these OSB Trench Boots, and am a very happy boy. Construction and materials are top notch. They feature natural CXL hide, double leather waterlock soles, 360 Goodyear welt construction, made on the Eliston last here in the US of A.

Can't wait till fall, when I can pair em with a GW A2:) think they perfectly capture the rugged yet elegant profile of WWII-era service boots. And at $426, I think they're worth every penny.

Worf, here ya go buddy

http://oakstreetbootmakers.com/footwear

As you can see, they offer a number iterations of this last; from brogue cap toe to chukka and oxford, also a few soles (vibram christie, waterlock leather, and Dainite if you ask nicely :) ) only in d widths, but it is a very accommodating last, and designed to work with most feet.

Also exclusive styles available through a few retailers, such as Context, who is currently offering the TB in black CXL, but I am all but certain will be carrying the boot in natural shell cordovan here in a few months!

Thanks bro! Those boots ALMOST make forget how much I hate leather laces!!!! If I had a dollar for every time I went "yank" only to hear "snap", I'd be bankin' like Bernie (Madoff but without the stealin). More pics of those boots when the weather turns and your A2 arrives.

Worf

PS - No response on the cap but I've got some feelers out on a maker!

I hear ya on the laces. In fact I'm likely going to switch these out with flat wax laces here soon.

And yeah, lemme know when you find out about that hat!

Those are great. I'm solid for boots now, or I'd take a serious look. I sold so many jackets, that I only have a few left, and more boots than jackets lol

Due for a jacket restock, eh? ;)

Thx for the kind words, guys. I'd highly recommend these for anyone looking for something less rugged than White's/Vibergs, but more rugged than Alden's. Definite home run boots IMO, and really looking forward to developing patina :)

Go for it! If they are any thing like my Wolverine boots, you will love them. After wearing mine for over a year, I can not figure out why tennis shoes surplanted boots for every day wear?
