I think if it is a one of a kind item, all crazy thing can be possibly done, it would be an issue when it has to be replicated or made into different sizes while keeping a correct proportion of the prototype.

Nick, that's the one! I've been thinking about it ever since it was first brought up here... These guys were pretty wild and looking at online image search, I am convinced now that the jacket I've seen yesterday must've been an original East West piece.

Nick, look! The Tiki is strong in this one.

They say East West was making really quality stuff. Check out the leather on the ******!

EDIT: Wow! I thought Nick was kidding, but the word is really is not welcomed 'round these parts. Well, check out the leather on the jacket that shares the same name with a youth movement that emerged in the United States during the mid-1960s, that was about living in the communities, listening to psychedelic music, embracing the sexual revolution, and using drugs to explore altered states of consciousness.

I don't much care for the other designs, but I like the one in the op. Very 30s German, I believe. I coild see that working well in all over black goat.

They're just dang cool jackets! If they're really wearable is debatable, but I am really impressed by the guts (or altered states of consciousness) those makers had! Totally fine art as far as I'm concerned! And though it doesn't fit the golden era (in fact, is probably the opposite of its values), they still are historical American artifacts and collector's pieces. The originals aren't exactly cheap, there are a few people in the world hip on their value, which I'm guessing will go up and up, into the clouds...I would not ship overseas though. Who knows what "residue" still lingers in the pockets. Customs would be a nightmare.

If I had a 50 chest, which I do AND and 40 inch waist, which I don't (not yet) I would rock the jacket in the op. I don't find it that hideous.

Nick, check out the back - cobweb aside, there's a zipper on the collar. What's inside? Magic.

As for the rest of you, these jackets are all about love! And happiness! See how happy these guys are? :D
