As this thread has come to be as much about Guernseys as Norwegian sweaters, I am posting some photos of my new Cinnamon Guernsey: we’re out of the season for woollies now, but I look forward to giving it a lot of wear in the Fall and Winter.

I love those Guernseys. On cold days, I would wear one to the office. My tie was usually barely visible, and barely was enough, so I was appropriately dressed. Mine, however, are a bit shorter than yours, ending just below my belt line.

I love them as well - I had my first one (classic Navy) aged seven, back in the early 1970s. I have had them all my life since then, usually owning several of them. I have a fair number of them now, including Navy and Army (olive) green. Do you still have any of yours?

As for the length, a shorter one would be a size smaller and a very tight fit. This one fits very comfortably indeed.

They, like most of my clothes, no longer fit because of my weight gain when I broke my leg and was inactive for 5 months or so. I am at that age when weight loss isn't easy to achieve.
Le Tricoteur is a good supplier. But like me you have your WPs to fall back on as well.
