Impeccable stitching & ribbon work. A very good rendition of the very early Playboy bow & ribbon

I like it a lot as well

Brim looks great snapped down all around as well for these mid 1930's dimensions

Ill try to post pics with a better profile with the brim snapped down all around to show its versatility better.

the interior is very simple as I don't like liners,
all the custom hatters ive worked with know I like the interiors very simple per my request
but the sweat & tip liner are very well done & the tip is sewn in with no visible stitches

Fit is perfect for my weird between 7 1/8 & 1/4 Long Oval
Ive been enjoying this hat for 2 months & its built to last a lifetime.

I'm over the moon. The felt is a a light weight beaver and is very much like vintage felt. The hat is exactly as I'd hoped. In the style of the Mitchum hat but with my own style choices, expertly accomplished by Mike.

He's getting too good. I used to be able to take a hat over to him for some work and get it back in a week or 2, now I have to wait months. But I'm happy he's getting the orders, it means he'll stay in business and I'll have a local hatter to go to, even if I have to wait. He is waiting on some fepsa felt bodies from Portugal to come in. I'm anxious to see it as it is supposed to be excellent.

Anyone have any idea or experience with response time to emails and how long it takes to get a hat made ?

He's generally really good at responding to emails. Sometimes personal circumstances will make a delay, but most of the time he's very responsive. Last I heard wait time for a new one is around 3 months.

Another set of fantastic hats by Mike.

I'm a big fan, so much so I've ordered another hat from him. This time I'm going for a hat inspired by the hat Johnny Depp wore in 'Public Enemies'. The black cherry one. Hopefully it should be with me sometime in the new year.
