NorShor Leather NS1 seal goatskin sz 42

I hesitate to do this, but my aging body has me deciding to move on.....

NorShor Leather NS1 made using veg tanned goatskin from John Chapman, approx size 42 (22.5” chest, 21” waist, 25” sleeves, and just under 24” back length tho this cut is low on neck so it sits lower than measurement would suggest).

I’ve owned and very happily worn this since 2013. I’ve got numerous pics of me wearing this floating around the interwebs, and would go as far as to say this is my grail jacket (just need an extra bit of width today lol).

Lol. Frankly, I am completely hesitant and never thought I’d do this, but I’m trying to be honest with myself. I’ve worn the jacket maybe twice in the last 18mos. It’s a work of art IMO.

I remeber now that I definitely saw those photos here on FL before, but I strangely used to forget abot that)
That jacket was looking very nice, it was looking so much extravagant. A bit too much extravagant to my modest taste though still very very nice. I'm almost sure its current owner is absolutely happy with that beaut.

Norshor is on my radar big time. If this were a 44” I’d be $900 poorer. I really, really like his stuff and the workmanship looks as good if not better than the folks referred to as top dogs around here. I really like the leathers he uses too. And he’s a Midwesterner, so he’s close by...and no ten year queue. If it fits @Lebowski I’d say jump on it, lest Bretron changes his mind.

This HB made by Mark Fisher has many interesting unique details and what's even more important - the whole pattern looks period correct for that time. Its back, its d-pocket, its leather, its buttoned cuffs etc. - everything looks true period correct in this jacket shown above. Famous Block Bilt pattern from 20s-30s in its one of the best repro ever!
Oh man, it's so much tempting jacket!
P.S. Ton, I'm afraid its armpits 22.5'' might be a bit too small to me, I wish them to be 23.5-24". But then again - in that case Bret possibly would have never wanted to sell it I suppose)

A beautiful jacket and close to my size. If I didn't have a new Aero Hooch Hauler coming this week, I'd have contacted you about it. If it's still around in a few weeks... well, we'll see.
