"Norman Davis" DB Suit

Thinking of going for this one, but I more prefer the 1930's look to 1940's. You guys think this could fit into a 1930's ensemble? I generally try to avoid the straight-up 40's "bold" look.

This is perfectly fine for 1938-39.

I was looking at this suit last night. I really like it but it's a bit too big for me. It doesn't strike me as very bold look, so I'd think it would be fine for a '30s look. It's actually very similar to some suits in the earlier Thin Man films.

Thanks! Those movies are actually my biggest inspiration and reference in my DB suit search.

For an American made suit, not particularly, especially in the second half of the decade. Zippers were heavily advertised in the early '30s, but were initially rather pricey and took a while to catch on.
