Normal House on the Outside, 17th Century on the Inside!

We're planning on retiring to Oregon in 5-6 years, so I showed the pics to my wife:

It's interesting and very beautiful, but I agree with the sentiments that others have expressed - it doesn't look very 17th century. I love the details like the clocks, the piano, the brassware and all that stuff, though. Very beautiful.

I'd feel smothered in stuff if I had to live there. Too ornate. Too decorated. And Cyclone Lily.... well, she'd destroy about 11 billion things in that house quicker than you can bat an eye.
