Non Fathers on Fathers' Day

I have never wished or been wished a Happy Father's day by a stranger. I'm not a dad, too young for that lol I got my dad a nice 1/4" socket set for the occasion, he's been asking for one for awhile and was very pleased.

I can picture my mother standing at the sink doing dishes and asking her the same thing, at about that age, and getting the same response!

Me, at seven: "How come there's a Mother's Day and a Father's Day, but there's no Children's Day?"

Ma: "Everyday is Children's Day. Now get the hell outside."

They did a 'Father's Day Weekend' on AM900. They played 'songs about dad' throughout the weekend such as 'That's my Job' by Conway Twitty.

I was cruising the radio dial this morning when I caught a program host wish all the fathers out there a happy fathers day.........a day early to boot.
