No-name leather jacket renovation?

I have this leather jacket that I bought 15 years ago for riding my 1970 Triumph Trophy 500. I didn't want the typical motorcycle jacket with the belt & don't recall where I got it. Well after that many years of hard use, it has developed a lot of character thru lots of miles, via the Trumpet, a 1978 FLH that I restored & now my 2000 Road King. It goes well with the well-worn chaps that saw lots of the same miles, except for the really hot months.
Here's my question:
Where would I send it to get the liner replaced? Front pockets are gone too.
I searched around Atlanta via internet but have come up dry with a local shop. I really love the jacket. I have a couple of other ones hanging in the closet but keep coming back to this one for riding. My wife won't let me wear it much besides when I go riding even if I wipe the bugs off.
TIA...

pretty much any qualified tailor could. it all depends on you. if you want the best of the best. try a company. i know Aero does some fixing up for jackets. even if it isn't aero brand. but youll have to ship to scotland which is the downside. there are plenty of leatherworkers out here in missouri. i had a liner repaired on one of my coats at a local tailor/laundrymat.

what would i dO?

i'd probably send it to aero, yeah, in ssshotland as 007 would say...

i tried a leather tailor that was written up in l.a. magazine as the 'best in l.a.', and before doing something as simple as stitching up an a-2 windflap, he warned me that he didn't want to do it, that leather is hard to work with and he knew i wanted it to look as manufactured...i could find no one else willing to give it a try, so i said go ahead

well, the best he could muster was a mediocre job because, i guess, leather is hard to work with...

i don't fault him...every other top leather tailor i contacted had refused...at least he warned me...and the guy was located in beverly hills and worked on the best of the best

point being, i wouldn't roll the dice on a tailor, i'd go to aero...if you like the jacket...if you don't, i still have the guy's number
