I just viewed the video of those evil Islamic pieces of **** beheading Nick Berg. I had to take a moment afterwards to relax because it was one of the most gruesome and sadistic things I have ever seen. I am sickened and extremely pissed off now.

These scum cut the head off a man in cold blood because their poor breathren were stripped naked and humiliated. Forgive me if I fail to see the equality in these two acts. We should bomb their cities and mosques into dust. Any survivors should be strafed by fighters and gunships. Only then do we send in ground forces to kill the rest. Any prisoners should be stripped naked, forced into humilating positions, laughed at by women and their photos compiled into thousands of leaflets that are then air dropped over the rest of the country. The message should be sent: "You don't **** with the United States of America."

I'm sick of this politically correct pussy footing around here. Wipe them out and ignore the offended leftist apologists. The scum that did that to Nick Berg would do exactly the same to me, you, your family, my family. Doesn't matter what party you stand with. They crave death over life and I say we give it to them.

They blow up their own citizens, they murder, burn and mutilate Americans who are there to rebuild their pathetic little country. These inhuman monsters understand only one thing...unadulterated force. We should gift wrap several dozen MOABs and send'em all to hell. Good riddance to them and their "religion of peace." :rage:

You know, I have been debating with myself. I don't know if I could handle watching this man suffer so. I have seen death in many forms over the years, mainly due to traffic accidents. I was even asked by our Highway Patrol once to help look for survivors after a big rig hit an SUV full of a family. I found the fathers head off the road. Why do I mention this? It's because of the fact that I have seen it but this MURDER of an innocent man would most likely sicken me so much I would start to really hate those "people" and the egg shell mentality our country is becoming already gets me pissed every day. I remember when WE were the best, most powerful country in the world. Now we cringe if the UN looks at us wrong. And for anyone who dares to compare what those bastards did to that man to the very minor few of our troops to a few prisoners, I will slap them. Edge, I have also seen the footage of Nick Berg, and like you, it makes me sick. What is worse is that only one senator, our own Jim Inhofe from right here in Oklahoma, has spoken out about the overreaction to the 'humiliating photos'. I would expect that our leaders would be smart enough to realize the taking of a few pictures does not compare to beheading a human being for sport, and do something about it. Instead of preparing to court martial the troops involved in picture taking, get more involved in finding the scum who cut off an innocent man's head and put bullets in them. These are the same people who attacked, burned, and mutilated our troops, and we're supposed to feel ashamed because we took some pictures of their butts? But no less than the S.O.B's that flew jets into the WTC, killing thousands. Our country is at WAR. And we need to fight like we are at war. Not apologize for photos...

No, professionalism should not have allowed those photos to happen. I chalk that one up to poor leadership. It's the same where a Cop in the USA is caught on film beating some motorist into the ground. YOu don't see the 20 minutes prior..just the beating. Those soldiers have been thru hell, and the photos may be the "sick humor" that surfaces to the top is such conditions.

Nuke em? Well it's certainly cheaper. But the World Community unfortunalely would find such actions reprehensible.

Maybe we have to wait until their "dirty bomb" explodes in a major US City..like was reported in the news last week - the not if, but when.

ANyway, the US News Media sucks and I cannot find the video (even on Google) for the video...USA censorship. I hate it. Does anyone have the link fo the video? Im not squeemish. I have seen worse. Really.

I also tried to find the video Andy but couldn't. I DID just hear the audio of it and sickening is mild. Janene just burst into tears asking me HOW can anyone do that and still be human? A car accident is one thing, but cold blooded, filmed murder by these heros in hoods ( doesn't it seem odd that they are brave enough to do this act but not brave enough to show their faces? Any thoughts?) is incomprehensible to a civil mind. I had some understanding prior to this that still gave me hope of solving this without massive death, but I am no longer optimistic. Another thought...if they do this with knives, what would they do with nukes?

You already can't walk many neighborhoods in America, can't fly to many places in the world due to the current political suitation, you have the typical American who only knows of this from the crappy censored US Media, and they still can happily drive to their office, buy that new car, watch the game on TV, and finish that nice drink over dinner.

Yes. Not IF but WHEN the next attack occurrs, where will it be? Biological? I have had the training. You WON'T know it happened until about day three or four, and OOPS it 's too late. Or when some SOB blows himself up in some Great Mall of America...or they "Dirty Nuke" some sporting event.


My take? Today's society will react FAR differently than my Father's generation, when they lined up to fight for this country in 1941. Sad. We are so damn complacent...and the world community hates our arrogance, but loves to take our money.

A contrarian opinion, for the sake of discussion (plus it happens to be my sincere belief):

First, the U.S. media has many faults, it's true; a penchant for sensationalism probably the worst. But I would be willing to bet that the news we get is the least censored and most factual in the world.

Now to the heart of the matter. "The good old days"--the forties and the fifties--weren't nearly as much "sweetness and light" as our romanticized view would have us believe. I promise you there were plenty of neighborhoods you couldn't walk through and dangerous countries to visit then, too (especially if you didn't have the right skin color or ethnic background). There were plenty of low-lifes and bad people. There was pornography, drug abuse, murder, "white slavery", government corruption (at all levels) and other heinous crimes, just like today. It's just a lot easier to remember the pleasant stuff.

Now, my pet peeve. I apologize in advance for feathers I might ruffle with this statement: THE "GREATEST GENERATION" IS A MYTH (STHill dives for cover). Please understand what I'm saying. Yes, the BEST of that generation rose to the occasion magnificently, and literally saved the world. No question about, and I will salute them every day of my life. But there were plenty of deadbeats in the Greatest Generation, just like there are in today's generation.

The greatest generation? Heck no, they were no better than we are today. It just happens that that generation was the one around when the greatest threat to the American way of life occurred. I would put the BEST of our generation up against the BEST of their generation any day.

And, unfortunately, that day may come soon. The one thing I totally agree with Andykev on is this: it's not "if", it's "when."

But, I believe with every fiber of my being, that when the cataclysmic event occurs, whatever it might be, that throws us into a full-scale World War, the best of our generation (or whatever generation is around at that point) will perform admirably and absolutely do what it takes to preserve the American way of life.

All right, I'm done with the soap box. Somebody else can use it now.

Oh yes. My take on the "best generation" is their work ethic. Seems lacking in the new kids (some not all mind you) entering the work place. Much more "questioning" minds as to WHY this and WHY that. Nuff said, there are books and seminars dealing with this new age........

But...I fully agree that the NEXT world war may be the end of us all...and that is a frightening thing.

Korea, India, the Middle East.....the Third World areas....all "hot spots'.

We've all heard the MESSAGE but so many have not LISTENTED. Someone up there, ya the Big Guy, must be very very patient with us down here.

I finally viewed this video and my blood is boiling as I am sickened by the enemy's behavior. The media has called this atrocity a "beheading" I suppose, technically, this is true. However, they sawed his head off! Come on! Let's just call it what it is! They sawed Nick's head off as he continued to gasp for air for almost 30 seconds.

I guess it just caught me a bit off guard as I had this idea in my head that the bad guys had Nick Berg out on the sand and used a long sword for a swift chop----not that that[/] would be okay but at least he would not have suffered. Ridiculous.
