Nice one. It's amazing it didn't sell yet at that price but that's probably because the seller estimates it to be from the 70's rather than the 40's.

What's a dropped loop pant?

As the name implies: The belt loops have been dropped slightly and are no longer level with the top of the waistband.

I did. Perhaps now I will be fine for another few weeks before ebay withdrawal symptoms show up again. I'm surprised it didn't sell until now. Was it always listed at $10?

Yes. But it was listed in the wrong section and mis-identified as being much younger than it is. That would have dented its chances. Some people still aren't very good at identifying eras and just take the seller's word for it.
