I have actually been known to take pictures of F. Scott Fitzgerald circa 1925 to a barber and say, "That's how I want to look." Got it pretty close, too.
Although looking like Clooney in Good Night, and Good Luck wouldn't be bad either. As I have made known in other threads, my current wishes are to look like John Slattery in Mad Men and dress like Timothy Hutton in Nero Wolfe.
Going to get the back fixed, it wasn't quite as short and tapered as I expected. I also need to get myself one of those slicking brushes to achieve the right look.
New here and having a great time catching up.... I've had long hair all my life and now I am considering getting a 'respectable' haircut but have no idea what I would look like. This topics very illuminating.
