News from Major Moore [Akubra news]

I just spoke with Mike Moore and he is at the National Western Stock Show in Denver.
He ask me if I would let everyone know that he will soon be carrying Akubra hats [through David Morgan] at his Buckaroo Hatters shop in Covington TN.
Mike has stated more than once that the Campdraft is one of the finest production hats made today.
Very soon we can get one from him.
Congrats Mike!

Having no experience with Akubra, I really cannot say much, other than to say that I know the proprietor, and based on that knowledge I would presume he placed quality toppermost in his criteria. Shame on those competitors that failed.

I know Major Moore went to bat with Stetson on the Strat and they blinked. Akubra wants business and will not blink. I am sure he will be working on getting the hats we all want in the high quality that Akubra can provide.

That would be good - but to date I believe Everything Australian is the only source for the BG and I know Hats Direct is the only source for the GG.

I am thinking of adding the Glen Grey to join my stable of Silverbelly, Taupe Fawn, and Bluegrass Green.

I always wondered why David Morgan doesn't carry the Campdraft (and a few other styles).
