Agreed, i mean the way Aero designed the top yokes looks feminin.
I was just comparing the leather top yokes on the Aero vs on @Marc mndt 's jacket.
The collar on the Aero is also not great IMO, although it might look better with spread lapels...
I agree the collar is weak. I don't know what this is patterned after...I assume a 30's HB. Maybe a full wool 50's HB would look more the part.
Brown always looks better on these mixed media jackets imo.

@ton312 he/him/she/her all in one... jk

I think the older design with the curve piping works. Hercules, Acadia whatever its called. The one you got up top.

All jokes aside the newer Aero HB pattern does look very hourglass like. The old HBs were more Y shaped that had 6 inch drop and straight down. The new ones, at least in the photos, looks like 2" pulled in and flared out bigger than the chest at the bottom. Influenced by four corners? Cinching for photo doesn't help them either. In real life these patterns are actually straight down, not hourglass, but why do they hourglass it for the photo shoot?

@Edward I had one of those Waterfront jackets. I'm thinking Mk2 in this wool.

Not sure but you can see from the shot on their page...tight as it gets and not within the realm of wearability in the corrrect size:

Yeah this is what I mean. Why did they cinched it like this for photo shoot? The way they take the photo makes it seems like it's pyramid shape with a waist. This is happening across the board for all the new HB patterns like the everyman...etc. But the fit photos I've seen on FB group do not look like this. They look normal, not lady like.

Yep, agreed, It's weird, maybe to show that the belts do actually perform the way they are intended and can impact the fit across the torso? Certainly not terribly flattering...

Seems to be the Everyman with wool.

It’s a pretty common practice. On suits they will do it by pinning, to exaggerate the shape.

Imo it's the kind of jacket that will look much better on a person than on a mannequin or laid flat
