It's my first decent A2. Ist was a bad averix that I bought in 1990.

That jacket looks really good on you, and I like the color- congratulations! I was watching that on eBay myself.
All you need to do now is to wear the hell out of it to give it the vintage WWII look. Are you going to add any patches, or artwork to it?

No patches on this one, but I have a G1 that I'm going to put my Marine Corps squadron patches on.

Well done! It's a beauty, and you got an excellent deal. (I'm one of the folks who has an US Authentic A-2 and digs it.) It fits you beautifully.

I was amused by the mistakes in the original eBay listing though - US A wasn't an original supplier, etc. Glad you saw through all that stuff to what a nice jacket it is...
