This is Part 2 of a previous thread. All thoughts and opinions are welcome and enouraged!

I said there wasn't much vintage stuff in my late aunt's house - Boy was I WRONG!

Below you will see the vintage couch and chair I talked about in the previous posts. My dad says he thinks the pieces had been reupholstered in the 1950's. There are a few cigarette burns on it but for about 40 years, the pieces had been covered. No tags though about who made them.

There is also this - which just could use some clean-up.

In the attic, there is this vanity, hidden amongst the junk.

And finally, this Kenmore sewing machine from Sears. It has not been used in at least 50 years. The bench comes with it as does the manual plus all of the attachments. It would be the only piece that would be for sale.

Awesome Club lounge. Down Under they were usually upholstered in a fabric called moquette....a velvety type of cloth that is becoming popular again and is very hard wearing.

The Astragal cabinet is nice too and the Queen Anne style dresser is great.

Brian who is that guy and suit in your avatar? Please advise...

What treasures!! I would like to know more about the machine, not to buy... but it looks different than any I've seen.
Gorgeous vanity, and you must keep that living room set.

I love those old secretaries too.

The sofa and chair look very 30's to me. I've seen chairs that were similar, but not as nice go for more than $600. I would love to have an overstuffed chair,it really completes a 1930's styled room. That's quite a collection.:eusa_clap

That looks like a commercial sewing machine. Heavy-duty!

The furniture is great! Love the sofa and chair - overstuffed and a beautiful color. Looks to me like the knobs on the vanity and the writing desk (?) match. Do they?
