New Member and new hats

Yea, Marc, I figure this was somebodies Grandpa's collection of hats. The nice thing, to me, is that despite the fact they are in pretty good shape, I get the feeling that they did get worn. I don't know why I think this, just a gut feeling. I sure hope someone got some years of pleasure out of them!

Oh man, wow. I'm not as big on the thin ribbons, but I would have snatched them all up anyway, at that price.

Of course, they'd have to have been in 7 5/8th, but hey…

I have NEVER been so lucky in my searches and I live in AURORA!!! Those are some awesome hats you have there. Good job. :eusa_clap

By the way, what is your size? Perhaps that will soften the blow and the sudden urge to go shopping even though it is after nine. lol

Well M Jones, I am actually in Aurora too, but I figured no one would know where that was. Since you are right here, I'll tell you that I picked those up at the Hamden Road Antiques store there at Hampden and Yosemite. Check it out some time, great place! Oh and I am a 7 1/4. Now that doesn't mean all the hats were, but I figure I should be able to get them stretched one size if need be. At least I sure hope so.
