So do you recommend washing $1000 suede jackets by hand, or is it OK to just pop them in the washing machine? Can they be tumble dried as well?

Lol. The most vigorous wash setting and highest heat of course! In all seriousness, I have hand-washed my gf’s suede knee-high boots that cost a good bit more than 1k. Didn’t do it as a lark, they just needed cleaning.

Lovely jacket. How does the fit compare to the Premier Highwayman?. The Majestic looks like a similar slim fitting jacket.

Thank you. Sorry, no natural daylight currently where I live, have to wait until early spring.
I have the Premier Highwayman as well and will try to post photos for comparison. They’re quite similar.

I see quite a few "Campus Jackets" in rust and dark brown suede on Etsy and ebay, usually for around $100, and I picked up two 1950s ones in great condition during the past year: one's a Penney's and the other an Excelled. Lots of nice comments from my students.

The Majestic pattern is a hybrid between the “original Sears Hercules” & a dustbowl I guess? Or perhaps totally Hercules with the two French seams gone & buckles moved up
