Here it is and I’m impressed. This thing is built to last! It’s little bit longer in body than what I expected, but I don’t mind. I like wearing my jackets bit longer than most folks around here.

I like the way it fits you. Plain cut seems like a jacket easy to wear.

Could you say something more about the construction? How does this compare to an Aero in terms of stitching etc.? Never handled a LW so I’m curious.

LW jackets always look oversized to me, but this one fits you great!
Maybe you have to be a nordic giant to stand a chance of filling a LW properly...

Actually I took a big Gamble and chose based on p2p measures one size smaller than what was recommended for me.

Nice cut, nice fit. I could be wrong, but I think the Suburban is designed to be longer, unlike the standard MC jacket.

I remembered one member once said LW is design for mid age man who has big gut, I tend to agree with him.

P.S jacket looks great on you, except it could lose one inches or so in back length.

That is darker looking than the blue samples I received from Stu.
Stunning.. the Suburban is s classic win. Wear in good health and a long life!!! Superior jacket in all aspects.

I agree with the length wearing longer than the actual measure. It’s all about the specific cut and design I suppose.

After quick inspection I couldn't find any flaws. Stitching in next to perfect and the jacket seems almost indestructible. I don't want to make any comparisons to other makers as I have had good service and products from all companies I've dealt with, but in terms of quality this jacket is definately top tier.

I am not sure, but I don't think LW uses Horween leather. At least this hide has very different finish to Aero's Horween. Where Aero's CXL scratches easily and will age quickly (that's the goal of their hide selection - I think) this one has very hard finish. I cannot really scratch marks to surface with finger nails. The hard finish reminds me more or Vanson Comp weight or Vanson X150 hide than Aero's CXL.

One thing I should mention about the hide is that according to Stuart this is 3oz, not 4oz like their black and russet hh. For me this thickness and weight is plenty enough!

Jacket that is built for middle aged men with big guts looks great on a middle aged man with a big gut. Mission accomplished, I'd say!

I certainly don't mean you have big gut, I am pointing the jacket has much more space in stomach area.

I would have to agree. I have a size 40 leather jean jacket from LW and it fits large on me so I think I'll list it for sale. A 38 would probably have been perfect. Their collars always seem a bit long for me also.

I would like another LW some day. The quality on my leather jeans jacket is top notch.

Oh yes finally here!
And the fit is top notch!

These jackets are certainly built to last, I would recommend you use it as your daily wearer / beater jacket... especially in the rain.

And the suburban is not a specific riding jacket, it was made for everyday use, hence it being longer than say the J 23.

Much more subtle color than the original pic you posted! All the better for it. I thought it looked a bit purple in Stu's pic. This looks perfect in color and fit!
