New Lost Worlds 1930's Jacket Pattern

The latch was original. I love the center vent. Not an everyday detail, even in elite reproductions.

I'd worry about that center vent if I planned on driving a car wearing that jacket. A couple layers of super-thick horsehide and seams right under your spine has the potential to get uncomfortable. I had a jacket with a low yoke seam on it and it drove me nuts when I was driving. I've never worn a leather jacket with a center vent - any experience yourself? Love the look but I'd wait on feedback to see if it's a real issue or only a perceived one.

Nice jacket! Weird coincidence, we've been working on some new 20s and 30s styles as some of you know, and this is very similar to a 1920s Hercules we've been working on reproducing from our archives also with a throat latch, and similar design! Sample will be up on our website soon.
