new hat and storage question

Hi All,

I just got my first fedora hat. It is a generic hat but it fit and it is black so I bought it, that and the price was right. My first question is, has anyone heard of this brand or company? Question number two is what is the best way to hang this hat? I love wearing it so I was thinking of hat rack. I don't want anything that will deform it. Also, what type of brush should I use to brush lint off of it.

Christys are a long established UK firm, and as well as producing hats under their own name also make bowlers (and probably other hats) for the old UK hat sellers of Lock & Co and Bates. Their hats are decent, but do try and avoid getting them wet - in my experience the felt is a little prone to shrinkage on their non-rigid hats. Storage wise I use simple hooks on the wall, but there's a whole thread on storage options. You can but hat brushes, but an unused reasonably stiff paintbrush or shoe brush will do fine.
