Looking at different ads sometimes the vintage G1 in pictures look to have a slight olive green tint? Is this just the photos or do some have slight hint of olive green to the leather?

My early sixties G-1 has no hint of green.

Looks like cow to me but I'm new to this game. Goat is more "pebbley" looking.

Pecards is what museum use and you find it highly recommmeded here.

As an aside - I contacted the head preserver at the Smithsonian Institution they do not use Pecards and do not endorse it.
