I like some of them....but then some are just trying a entirely too hardNot my style but the lining details are just so good!
These Freewheelers jackets are really from a different planet. Whether you like or not the design of the jacket, I think it’s pretty obvious from the pictures that they are a notch above the other brands in terms of construction.

Fitwise may be ok for a skinny japanese human, but if you have some love handles or a wider hip it's a no-go...
To me most of the Japanese stuff all looks the same. I can clearly identify an Aero, Himel, Thedi, Vanson, Langlitz, LW etc...but these Japanese brands all start to just blend into each other. You could tell me that any one of them is a fine creek, RMC or Freewheeler's and I would accept it as truth...They are fine jackets but they don't have much individual character that distinguishes one maker from another IMHO.
That's probably because most Japanese jackets posted here are RMC and then Freewheelers? But do you find that these are that similar?
What about if I add Tenjin Works, aren't they pretty unique?
And don't forget Kadoya, you were lusting after one of their jackets if I remember correctly. Having been to their shop, I can tell you that they offer serious riding gear, they are probably the Vanson of the Japanese market (although I haven't handled Vanson yet, just going by what I have read here). Or maybe Langlitz?
Didn't i read somewhere on here that RMC and Freewheelers are actually made in the same "Factory"?

But how are you going to perform your tasks as a railroad brakeman without it?I am trying to convince myself that I do not need this jacket.
Good point. I would say Kadoya definitely has a recognizable "look". Tenjin I suppose I haven't seen enough to recognize or distinguish from others. That's probably because most Japanese jackets posted here are RMC and then Freewheelers? But do you find that these are that similar?
