Gorgeous handmade Flame Panda lace to toe pattern boot in his new flat toe profiled 102 last. If you are unfamiliar, Flame Panda's boots match the quality and craftsmanship of Role Club and Clinch, but at much more affordable prices.

Very accommodating and comfortable last and with this being lace to toe, the fit would work well for both a D and E width (I am in between.) Absolutely incredible craftsmanship from Peng, considered one of the best in the world. These are solid and hefty, made in natural hand overdyed Maryam horsebutt, which will roll and age beautifully over time. Beautiful high stitch count hand welting, flame panda branded brass hardware, off white Dr. Sole halfsoles, brass nails in the bottom.

I can honestly say the finishing on these matches or surpasses the various Clinch boots I have. I believe his current wait list is over 1.5 years. asking 1050 shipped CONUS.

Is the top of the left vamp fixable? Other than that they look amazing. I was looking for a jacket but FP always will get my attention!

Peng hand overdyed these and they are meant to fade quickly and make a unique patina, which is part of the charm of his particular style and artistry. He is known for his unique patinas and dye work. This type of overdye is meant to teacore and fade at flex points, which that part of the vamp will do. It probably got a spot of water on it and it lightened a few spots.

I'm sure you can put a little polish, or burnish it with a cloth to even it out, it if it bothers you. But as a disclaimer, if you are looking for a boot that is going to keep an even color and not change and evolve with wear, i would recommend something that is not overdyed by the maker. If you want something that will become more unique and evolve with the way you wear them over the years, these are an amazing choice and a pretty rare boot to find!
