OK, I haven't received the jacket yet, the photos are from their Facebook, I also found the original photos of Werber 1402-p on acmedepot website, so, take a look of the comparison first, I will update the thread with fit pictures when I receive the jacket.

They have a long wait queue now, I finalized my order in August, and the jacket is ready this week. Also, if you want seal brow, badalassis cow hide or Victory HH, I think the waiting time is even longer now since they run out of these leathers.

You're lucky it wasn't very long.

I ordered in June but Andy warned me for the surrogates jacket in seal brown the waiting time would be 4 months.

They began my jacket last Monday. So I should get it soon.

That russet is really beautiful congrats!

I can't wait to see some actual wearing.

Well, I placed my order in July, but I keep change the spec of the jacket until August...
I think the long waiting time of your jacket is because the surrogate is a new pattern and they short of seal brown leather? If they start last Monday, the jacket should be ready to ship next week I think.

Nice Werber repro, with many of the details correct, apart from the width of the stitching on the epaulets and the shape of the pocket flaps. I'm not sure about the colour of the knits. The Good Wear repro of this 1941 contract is spot on when compared with originals.

Yes, Compare with the original I posted, the pocket flaps is a bit different, but I don't think GW get this right as well if you compare the photos on their website and the original I posted here. The width of stitching on the epaulets is a bit hard to tell from the photo, once again, if you look at the GW one, the stitching width is different as well. But, this is how I see it, and, maybe, the original jackets may different each other?

I think you also own an original Werber 1402-p right? Could you post some photos of it? I can not find your post on internet...

As for knit, I think the colour is correct, they told me the colour of knits are mdi brown. So I image the oliver like one in photos are caused by light etc.

Of course details on original Werbers would have varied a little as they do on other contracts. Unlike BK John Chapman has used four originals to create his pattern, so clearly his knowledge of this contract is second to none and he has nailed it. I do not own a repro of this contract, only the early 1936 Werber.

Is it worth the additional outlay and the loooooong wait though Andrew for these marginal subtleties?
