I'd like to get a better idea on the brim as well as that center dent.
Do you think it would hold a C crown or a diamond crown better with the judicious application of some stiffiner? I had a regular Fed that held a Diamond pretty well.

I don't know the answer to your question about the stiffener, and I have never tried to bash this hat any other way. I do know that I asked Hatsdirect about a C crown and the answer I received was that they were not happy with the results, and I didn't pursue it with them anymore. Perhaps, you could contact Ron Lilburne or Ron Baker there and they could answer your question for you. Both are very pleasant gentlemen who have answered any questions I have put to them.

I would be interested in seeing a Federation in moonstone gray...if anyone has a photo of themselves in one. I'm looking for a hat to wear with a weathered black leather jacket and I don't want to buy a black fedora.
