Thanks Scott. I'll be interested to see how that distressing looks in good light. Bit of a tightrope and easy to get wrong. The early Good Wear cape split opinion down the middle and although my .50 cal works, the early ELC timeworn was a bit hit and miss.
The LVC washed goat that I have seems to be a milder process - John Lever suggests that there might have been some burnishing with newspaper in its past to get that 'grubby shine' TM...

Unless I'm mistaken, the pictured jacket was posted by Insurrection a while back and if of an original that they and Aero are using for a pattern...I can't wait to see what's released next week.

Thanks Handymike, I though that looked like a very convincingly aged hide...
Personally (and I might be in a minority of one here), I'd prefer not to have the hide aged in this case and not to be the bullet proof FQHH variety as the pattern will be overwhelmed by it.
