NEW 2010 Stetson Whippet

The proportions look great on you Bart.
I am really thinking about this one.
I believe I could get the brim flattened as I did on my Dobbs and have a brim I like better.
But I have to say it looks super on you!!

I've been beating my old New York Hat Co panama left right and centre this summer. It's copped grime, sweat, dirt, carnival rides (yes, carnival rides! ) and it's still kicking on. Might be nice to have a nicer straw to wear with summer suits or slacks/sports coats though too . . . and seeing your photos Bart makes me want the Whippet!

I'll go for this hat, for sure, if it will fit my 7 5/8 extra-long-oval head.

I fear it won't, but I'll live in hope for now.

Well, I like what I see so far. The crown dimensions look great. The brim snap looks similar to a vintage Stetson Panama that I have. I can deal with it.

I'll hold out until we get a report as to how it holds up to rain - and I mean rain - not just a sprinkle.

Yes I noticed that. Your ribbon and bow work looks nicer to me. Are the bow tacks as noticable as mine? Mine has some minor flaws in the ribbon - bow work so could be the reason it ended up in the outlet at $39.00.
