Neon clock for Ace Music Inc. from Kokomo, IN

Hey folks,
a while ago I purchased this vintage advertising neon clock, made for Ace Music - CD & Juke Boxes.

I am completely unaware of the clock age. It still lights up (purple neon light), but the movement is not working (it shouldn't take too much to get it running though). The person I got if from bought it at a garage sale focused and centered around vinyl records and turntables in Lafayette, Indiana.
I did a brief search and found that Ace Music is a company in Kokomo (not far from Lafayette), that specializes in juke boxes, pool tables and arcade games. It appears it was founded in 1974. I'd love to have some info about them so I tried to contact them through an email address I found but got no reply. I'm not sure if they're still operating.
Is anyone from that area, and knows anything about the company?
And can anyone guesstimate the age of this thing?

I remember when those "retro" clocks came out. late 1980's and early 1990's. Most used a simple, cheap quartz movement which may be replaced for ledd than $5.00.

Thet look great, and are becoming collectibles themselves, now.

Hopefully you're not like me and parking your projects in the basement, but if you are, here's something to consider: There's actually a whole world of vintage advertising clock collectors out there. I have a back-lit electric that needed the electric movement replaced. Not difficult at all. The most common clock is Pam and there are several sources you can Google that stock new replacement movements. It's also worth replacing the hands - they're cheap. Unscrew the old from the back of the face, match it with what you see on-line, and you're good. Goes back the way it came out. I assume you have the glass - if not you can buy that also.

As for Ace, call the Chamber of Commerce. Who knows, they may actually give you a few dollars to buy it back.

Good thinking about replacing the hands, definetely going to do that!
