A tad far for me to drive. I am glad to see Viet Nam living history folks. I work with a VVA group here in Delaware. There seems to be issues with the vets and reenactors of the Viet Nam War. Most VN vets that I talk to are against it. Their pain is still too strong. I believe they see it as a way of glorifing war in the image of John Wayne. Some vets believe it is a way to educate.
Best of luck in October

Phantomfixer, thanks for setting me up to get away from the mark of the beast!
Moore actually referred me to a shop in North Dakota that makes receivers: NODAK SPUD
www.nodakspud.com
He had sites for all the other parts, including the 'tulip' flash supressor. I bought them online and then took them to our local gunsmith (Peter Garrett, in Newport, KY) who built it for me. I got all the info in a 15 minute phone call with Mr. Moore.

Anyone in Tidewater want to do a small display October at the moving Wall in Curritick? Me and my son (USMC) will be doing a living display of Vietnam GI's.

I can fly a Huey for you if you have one, or at least sit in it and look like I know what I am doing. My flight jacket is still a fit, but the flight suit might be a bit tight. I, too, salute you for what you are doing.
