I was thinking something about something a little less contemporary. Maybe like these:

...but in this case I'm wanting to try something new and a little "risky." I think I'm gonna go with Hollywood waist navy gabardine slacks, brown/white spectators, a pink 40's nylon dress, and a tie as yet to be determined...thanks fellas.

Yep- the pink 40's nylon dress sure will be risky.

I was talking about the look being '57/'58, not necessarily the jacket's specific age but it looks later '50s to me.
