We have eight available options for jacketing tweeds on these Tweed and Horsehide jackets--

http://www.lochcarron.co.uk/tweed-jacketing-fabric/

and four Vicenza Horsehide colors...

Russet
Seal
Dark Seal
Black

That makes for a ton of cool combos...be creative and have a ton of fun with the design!

Hello Carrie,
I hate to ask, but, can you get the style jacket (August - 30's HB - etc.) you want and make your own combo, or is it only available in the Bootlegger?

^^^ Yes, this is my question also, can these tweeds be applied to any jacket pattern? Also, could the whole jacket be done in the tweed, as opposed to a combination? I'm really digging the Poacher Shetland Tweed. Thanks, Carrie! This is exciting!

Hi pauleway,

All of Aero's half belts work with the Tweed / Horsehide combo...email us with what you were thinking and we can give you a better idea of the overall design...

Hi BobJ,

Email us on the jacket that you're thinking of...we can tell you if it's possible. We can do 100% Tweed jackets too! Cost on 100% Tweed is $725.00 USD.

I like the look quite a bit (I mean it really looks great!), but IMO the price is too close to the all leather version.

I wouldn't expect a significant price difference - bear in mind that aside from the limited difference in price in materials, one of these will take exactly the same time, skill and effort of the leather equivalent to make.

The description was sounding great, until I got to the line:
"with added body length and sleeve length".

Why oh why?????

Isn't it a fairly standard thingfor the Thurston stock orders to be a touch longer?
